Some of the towers are already up. With the purchase of T-Mobile likely, and the fact that ATT has already petitioned the FCC for a date to allow them
to stop supporting WIRES, it seems that the other carriers will be getting a run for their money. ATT and T-Mobile and Sprint have the best phones anyway.
With no wires to support, they can focus on wireless.
